Christy is in her 10th year of coaching club. The previous 9 years she coached at Lake Cities Edge in the Flower Mound area. She has coached 15’s-17’s age levels. Her coaching experience includes an assistant position at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Not only has she coached volleyball at the college level, but she also played at Texas A&M University Commerce. She also coached at the high school level where she was head coach for 7 years at Life School Dallas.
As a player Christy received many honors. In high school she was named All-District all four years. Her senior year she was named to her All-State team. She then went to Seward County Community College a Junior College in Liberal, Kansas. While there she was part of a team that made history by going 52-2, that year they placed 5th in the nation. She then finished her career at Texas A&M-Commerce where she was named to the All Conference team 3 years in a row. Christy received her BS from TAMU-C in Business Management and is currently working as a teacher. She is also IMPACT certified.
